In the context of the Doctoral Training Unit on "Economic Insecurity: Causes, Consequences and Actions" (EICCA) established by the University of Luxembourg (UL ) and the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER ), with the financial support of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) in the framework of its Program for Research Intensive Doctoral Education (PRIDE ), we are currently offering 5 PhD (Doctoral Candidate) positions for a duration of up to three years, with a possible extension to a fourth year. EICCA will train 14 social scientists from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds interested in the quantitative analyses of the causes and consequences of economic insecurity (EI) for individual's lives and society at large, and the understanding of the role that public policies play in mitigating or amplifying the size of these impacts - this is essential for the development of adequate policy actions addressing the rise of insecurity, and therefore the improvement of individual wellbeing.
