Expert Accountant


A Prestigious Asset International Management in Luxembourg has obtained dual authorization from UCITS Management Company and AIFM, and is supervised by the Financial Supervisory Commissioner (CSSF). Luxembourg-based they manage UCITS and AIF in corporate and contractual form, providing real estate, infrastructure and advanced secured loan strategies.

Expert Accountant


They  are looking for a motivated person to join them as an accounting expert (f / m / d) in the strategic finance and control department to support their growing team in Luxembourg.


In this role, you will actively participate in various internal and external stakeholders and assume the following responsibilities:



• Take over the daily accounting work of financial and accounting transactions in SAP
• Prepare monthly report and annual accounts independently according to Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Accounts receivable management, including issuing invoices, monitoring cash inflows and issuing credit notes Accounts payable management, including checking invoices, reconciling accounts, monitoring creditor accounts and initiating local bank payments
• Maintain the standard chart of accounts in Lux GAAP and IFRS within SAP
• Become the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (such as local management, auditors, tax consultants and banks) for accounting and reporting matters
• As a technical accounting expert, manage business and provide temporary advice to department heads
• Analyze and comment on important target/actual deviations related to overall functional performance
• Support the cash flow forecast and liquidity management of the local asset management department
• This position is an important member of the Luxembourg and global finance team
• Maintain a good relationship with the global personal finance department and the HQ finance department
• According to the German GAAP (HGB), it is possible to achieve growth in the next 3 years by expanding the responsibilities of the German branch
• Support SAP implementation

Your Profile



• University degree-preferably with a major in accounting and control;
• Years of relevant work experience
• IFRS and Lux GAAP expertise can be used for independent financial statements and consolidation (German GAAP (HGB) may expand the scope of responsibility)
• Experience in SAP software (not required, but beneficial);

• Flexibility, practical ability, problem-solving ability
• Have a good understanding of the organization and processes of insurance companies and/or asset managers (helpful)
• Familiar with the use of SAP will be an advantage
