By being part of the product management team, you will participate in the digitalization of the fund industry. You will contribute to the development of our innovative technological solution, as well as the onboarding processes of new clients.

In an ever faster changing Tax environment, companies are facing complex and evolving Reporting and Tax Compliance obligations; we see the active management of tax issues and tax compliance requirements as a way for businesses to realize their full potential in an agile, efficient and progressive way. Our team assists clients to be up to date with all new tax reporting requirements in Europe and more widely i.e. Asia and US.

We are looking for two Engine Product Designers (Manager and Senior Manager level) for our Investment Services Department.

The Role

• Design the data management processes of accounting data received from our clients, using Big Data technologies.
• Maintain and create business requirements and detailed algorithm specifications.
• Analyse accounting and financial data from Asset Managers and Asset Servicers in order to design the computation process.
• Actively participate in the development of new features in our proprietary tools and implementation projects following internal control framework.
• Drive implementation projects, testing, as well as transition to operational status.
• Perform gap and impact assessments in order to help our clients understand the required changes in their business Tax models.
• Train and coach the team on the best practices of data management and computations.
• Actively participate to the change management activities and drive the integration into the team.
• Proactively partner with the production team to identify and pursue new rationalisation of processes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Participated in Project Management for several IT implementations.
• Experienced in SQL language to create queries.
• Experience in documenting business requirements and software specifications.
• Strong appetite to learn in details multiple fund accounting systems.
• Microsoft Excel in order to create complex calculations.
• Microsoft Power Query is a strong advantage.
• Program language (Python or Scala) and/or Big Data technology (Apache Spark) is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of fund accounting systems is an asset.
• Fluent in English.
• Use strong organisational abilities to meet deadlines, organise, prioritise and allocate resources effortlessly.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Team player willing to share your experience and have excellent communication skills.
• Client & Solution oriented with proactive behaviour.
• Ability to develop new approaches and solutions.
