Digital Transformation Manager

The opportunity

We are looking for a new colleague who will be part of our amazing digital team. Our digital team is driving a large portfolio of projects helping our Service Lines to apply digital transformation through technologies like software robotics, analytics, artificial intelligence and conversational interfaces. As an assistant director business analyst, you will directly support the digital factory leader and oversee the development process throughout the lifecycle of a range of products. You are responsible of the ongoing management of the requirements from business stakeholders and help managing the team to perform a variety of complex technical or professional work activities in a wide and often unpredictable context.

Your key responsibilities

  • Identifying the business need for transformation and technology understanding the problem that the business faces; challenge the teams to strive for innovation to grow and improve their business!
  • Building the foundation for the digitalization effort by capturing thebusiness context - problem, current state, desired future state, objectives, Service Line needs and impacted stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business in developing requirements which are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested.
  • Understanding the business cases and given project scopes and their fit with the overall vision and program strategy aro und data.
  • Overall coordination and support among business teams, in- and offshore development teams and local IT.
  • Acting as solution owner and being responsible for the solution backlog i ncluding the prioritization of the EPICs, Features and user stories based on the value.
  • Assessing the current data capabilities, application landscape, data sources and tools as well as selecting, implementing and rolling out of data management capabilities, customized to the requirements of the stakeholders.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the functional business and non-functional/system level requirements in the form of use cases, UML, and other similar structured requirements documentation.
  • Driving the overall implementation of innovation business cases from specification to delivery.
  • Ability to drive multiple digital projects and ensure stakeholders are fully aware throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing changes, issues and related impact to requirements with the appropriate audience throughout the projects to ensure all stakeholders have the same understanding and agreement to ensure timely and smooth delivery.
  • Being responsible for the implementation of enhancement of EY Financial Managed Services Platform functionalities.
  • Supporting in the offshore factory resource and oversee sprint planning.

Skills and attributes for success

  • IT or business digitalization background with experience across the systems or product development life cycle in different project phases
  • Strong interest in finance, investments, asset management or other financial services related field
  • Profound project management capabilities, being used to work on change activities with matrixial teams using Agile (creating user stories)
  • Fast learner being able to acquire knowledge on a variety of projects and technologies
  • Eagle eye nature with attention to details is key as we have a strong focus on quality and exceptional customer service
  • Pragmatist strongly focusing on resolving problems being flexible with solutions that we apply
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A degree in business with technology consulting or technical experiences
  • Or a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in business transformation or related technical field (solution / application development)
  • Work experience in a financial services industry. Big 4 is preferred
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • A fluent command in English. French and/or German would be preferable and any other language being an advantage.
  • A sense of team leadership

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Some Cognitive Services experience (Microsoft, IBM Watson)
  • Some RPA experience (BluePrism) is a plus
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is a plus.

What we look for

  • Passion for business transformation using technology
  • Hands-on experience with business transformation suites and standards (like BPMN 2.0, Lean)
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (DevOps Azure, JIRA, MS Project etc.) and standards (Agile Scrum, Hermes, PMI, Prince2).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate a vision into practice
