Junior Project Financial Controller (6-Month FTC or Interim)
Location: Luxembourg (near the German border)

Our client, a renowned international player in its sector, is seeking a Junior Project Financial Controller to join on a 6-month assignment. This position offers a challenging and diverse opportunity within a high-performing project environment.
Budget Validation & Planning: Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Operations to confirm available budgets, milestone plans, and procurement cash flow requirements during pre-contract stages.
Project Financial Reporting: Track and report project/work package performance and margin evolution, carry out regular variance analyses, and develop forecasts through to project completion.
Controlling & Analysis: Review monthly project and service financials, investigate anomalies, and ensure timely and accurate timesheet and cost reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key finance partner for budgeting, cost submissions, and reporting activities.
Process & Tool Improvement: Drive ongoing automation and enhancement of forecasting and monitoring tools, and contribute to operational process improvements.
Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with Finance, PMO, Legal, Vendor Management, and Quality teams to ensure seamless execution of project controlling tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Project Controlling, FP&A, or similar roles.
Advanced user of MS Excel and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
Daily user experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
