Manager Accounting & Tax – Holding Company, High Flexibility

We are currently assisting a Holding Company in its search for a Manager Accounting & Tax. With hundreds of employees on an international level, but with a team to build in Luxembourg, the Holding is currently seeking an autonomous Manager Accounting & Tax to represent the Luxembourgish entity.

Your Responsibilities | Manager Accounting – Accountant – Finance - Inhouse

•You are responsible for the daily bookkeeping of SPVs and Holding companies and you are fully autonomous.
•You are in charge of the bank reconciliations and establishing the financial statements.
•You make sure that tax returns and VAT returns are prepared correctly and in due time.
•You will also take on some corporate-legal tasks such as the preparation of board meetings, resolutions or minutes. However, it is important to note that your role will mainly be focused on accounting and the aforementioned tasks will represent a minority of your workload.
•Although you will be the first employee in Luxembourg, you will be surrounded in the offices by the Holding’s fiduciary, and have the chance to assist in building the team.


Profile and Career Path | Manager Accounting – Accountant – Finance - Inhouse

•Fluency in English is required for this position as this is the only language that is used internally.
•A good experience in a PFS, Holding company or fiduciary in Luxembourg is mandatory for this position, with a high level of autonomy and previous exposure to corporate-legal tasks. 6 years in this type of role would be a minimum.
•You would describe yourself as an independent person with excellent work ethics, who is comfortable working in an autonomous manner without needing a large team around you.
•You are trustworthy and your colleagues abroad can count on you to report in due time, but also to identify certain needs or solutions in case there are problems.
•You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting, or in the legal field.
