OPERATIONAL RISK ANALYST

Overall Role Objectives

The successful applicant will join the Operational Risk Management (ORM) function, within the Risk Management department where you will actively contribute to the ORM agenda, through the analysis and identification of risks associated with the primary activities of Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) namely; International Private Banking, Asset Management, Fund Administration and Depository Bank services. 

The successful candidate will be join a small multi-disciplinary team focusing on the annual Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA)  and Fraud Risk Assessment (FRA) programmes leading to the assessment of the risks in the aforementioned businesses. 

Activities

• Actively participate in the set up and execution of the annual RCSA and FRA programmes.
• Work directly with the business to facilitate and assure the quality of the analysis relating to the RCSA programme.
• To independently execute control testing and assessments relating to the FRA programme and the accurate documentation of the results within the ORM system.
• To provide meaningful reports to senior management relating to the progress of these two programmes through to completion.
• To consolidate the findings and provide accurate reports to senior management to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate the risks identified.

• We are looking for self-starter with a can do attitude, who can work both independently and within a team.
• The ideal candidate will come from an Audit / Risk or controls background, with previous experience in Financial Services.
• The candidate is expected to be highly analytical with the ability to accurately document and present information.
  
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines including interacting with colleagues from both the Front Office and Back Office.
• You should be familiar with the usage of MS Office tools, and more specifically MS Excel.
