What is the opportunity ?

In this role, you will be responsible to lead and direct the Register Investor Account opening team.  The incumbent will Deliver quality service  by ensuring that all operations are in line with customer and/or legal requirements.

What will you do?

• Develop & implement comprehensive operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes.
• Establish targets to measure service quality, & effectiveness against appropriate benchmarks.
• Managing people, coaching, mentoring and leading the team as well as providing training.
• Ensure procedures are adequate to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory & audit requirements as internal well risk management requirements policies.
• Provide leadership to the team through effective communication and on-going team meetings.
• Manage the team activities in a clear and efficient way : agree on ownership, monitor workload within the team and ensure timeline. Ensure right allocation of resources to manage business without interruption.
• Build a high performance team that emphasized improving quality and efficiency of deliverables within area of responsibility.
• Develop talent management plan to ensure we attract and retain top talent to the group & have effective management of succession needs for all critical roles

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• strong experience in Transfer Agency or financial services
• Client centricity and solution oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• English and French are mandatory, all other languages is an asset
• Strong talent management and leadership capabilities

Nice-to-have

• Technical expertise, ability to understand Register & Transfer Agency operating models end to end and business drivers
• German or any other language is an asset
