APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT JUNIOR OFFICER (M/F/D)

The Application Developer Junior Officer will have the opportunity to deliver smart products and solutions that create business value and improve overall processes at Advanzia. As part of the Application Development team, you will play a key role in the value delivery process of the bank, covering technical design, development of applications and services, as well as application architecture. This opportunity is a full-time CDI contract.

ABOUT THE JOB  I  What will you do?
 
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
− Analyse business requirements
− Develop and continuously maintain internally developed applications and interfaces between internal and external systems
− Ensure quality assurance and process documentation
− Support the change and incident handling process
− Design and draft technical specifications and estimations
− Reporting design and enhancement

ABOUT YOU  I  What’s your background?
 
Required qualifications
− Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or an equivalent degree, or relevant experience in the field
− Good knowledge of Microsoft frameworks: C# .NET and C# .NET core
− Good knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP)
− Experience in data modelling and usage of the Microsoft SQL Server suite or equivalent
− Unit testing background
− Relevant experience in Service Oriented Architecture or Micro Services
Desired qualifications
− Proficiency in Microsoft Developer suite, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
− Knowledge in any Agile methodology (SCRUM, SAFE, …)
− Knowledge of Application Life Cycle and usage of Azure DevOps
− Background in banking and/or credit card industry or consultancy

− Fluency in English is mandatory; French, German or other languages are advantageous
