As a Business Manager of the Bank Julius Baer Europe S.A., you are responsible to proactively develop, implement and control the effectiveness of the strategy of the European Hub. You act as first point of contact for the Front Office (Relationship Management) with a client-, service- and business oriented mindset and ensure a target oriented communication of Front impacting changes. In addition, you are responsible to independently steer business related projects and process enhancements.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Business Management

  • Proactively support the Front Office as solution oriented Business Manager to further grow and manage the business
  • Develop new ideas to further grow the business and increase profitability (top and bottom line) of the European Hub
  • Develop, collect, define and prioritize new Front Office related requirements (e.g. technical enhancements) – ensure sounding with all stakeholders (including branches) and calculate respective business cases
  • Understand business and client requirements to assess impact and value of Front requests
  • Responsibility for the Change the Bank (CtB) budget process for Front office changes in close collaboration with Head Office
  • Act as Front Office representative for all areas (e.g. COO) and ensure structured, targeted and client oriented communication of Front impacting changes (e.g. new processs)
  • Proactively develop ideas to improve (Front Office-) processes to increase efficiency
  • Perform KPI analysis (regular and ad-hoc) for the European Hub Luxembourg and identify measures to support growth of the European Hub
  • Perform / support data requests (from Head Office, Regulator, etc.)
  • Support the Management of the EuroHub

Project Management

  • Manage and steer business related projects in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure execution of projects within the given timeframe and budget

YOUR PROFILE

  • Banking apprenticeship and Master degree in Economics, Finance or other related fields
  • Good knowledge of and experience in financial markets and banking sector, especially in an international context
  • Experience in Relationship Management (e.g. Relationship Management Assistant) or Business Management is an added value
  • Strong client and business orientation
  • Deep analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ability to think interconnected
  • Structured working method
  • Work on own initiative, take responsibility and solution oriented
  • Strong Teamplayer
  • Excellent MS excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial
