Within the framework of our Luxembourg based activities, we are recruiting a:
Cash Operations Employee (m/f)
Permanent contract
to strengthen the Cash Operations Section within the Securities Services Department
Your responsibilities
- Process internal/external clients’ payment orders
- Process and monitor interbank money transfers
- Book Forex and Time Deposit based on standing instructions
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and investigation
- Solve payment related problems with cash correspondent banks
- Manage Relationship Management Application in SWIFT Alliance
- Support Treasury Dealing Room
- Ensure timeliness of client service in accordance with agreed deadlines
- Complete daily, monthly and annual control checklists
- Control transitory account balance and movements
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legislation
- Accomplish various tasks in a timely and qualitative manner
- Make proof of sense and sound judgment towards risk awareness
- Inform the Section Head of all risks of error and actual errors as soon as detected
and evaluate their impact - Review specification documents and participate to “UAT” for new developments
with direct impact on Settlement section
Your profile
Education
Bachelor in Accounting, Banking or Economics, or equivalent experience
ExperienceAt least 2-4 years of working experience in the payment area within the banking sector.
Knowledge- Knowledge of swift messages related to payments/ forexes
- Excellent overall banking knowledge
Languages
Fluent in English and in French
IT skills- Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of THALER, SWIFT and SMART would be considered as an asset
Personal skills
- Perfectionist
- Accurate
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure and timely
- Good knowledge of financial products
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Criminal record: This position may require a condition of a good repute. The law on the financial sector provides that the good repute of a candidate shall be assessed on the basis of (i) criminal records and (ii) any evidence tending to show that the candidate is of good repute and offering every guarantee of irreproachable conduct.
