Role overview:

 

As IT Manager & Developer based in Luxembourg your primary role will be to manage a team of two developers and all software and proprietary services of the company. You will work under the direct supervision of the conducting officer in charge of IT.

PRINCIPAL MISSION

Software Architect and Developer:

The IT Manager oversees the maintenance and the development of in-house software developed by the company. Software is based on various Microsoft technologies and communication protocols such as:

 

• .NET Framework, .NET Core
• Microsoft Azure, Office 365
• NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relative Framework (such as jQuery, Bootstrap), Windows services
• T-SQL and SQL Server
• Batch files and PowerShell scripts

SECONDARY MISSIONS

 

Part of your missions as IT manager, directly or with the help of the group or external resources, is to administrate the infrastructure and network of the company that comprises among other things taking care of the below:

System Administrator

• Microsoft O365, Microsoft Azure
• Group compliance and Security policies, DNS management
• Virtualization (VMware, vSphere, vCenter) and SaaS
• Backup (Veeam), Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
• Database system maintenance, integrity of the data, efficiency, and performance of the RDBMS

Network Administrator

• Firewalls
• Network switches and routers (Cisco)
• Remote accesses and services (ActiveSync, OWA, VPN, etc.)
• Network monitoring and maintenance

PERSONAL PROFILE

 

This IT Management role will lead you to work in a central position to manage the IT environment of a leading investment funds management company. Organized and being a team player will be essential to succeed in this pivotal position.

 

Especially, your profile must integrate the following:

• High level degree in Information Technology
• Microsoft Technologies developer
• Accomplished project management skills
• Curious, dynamic, and eager to develop your skills within a major international group
• Previous experience on the financial industry would be a plus
• English mandatory
