Job Type – part or full time (minimum 80%)

Within the framework of our Luxembourg based activities, we are recruiting an:
Legal Officer – Investment Funds (m / f)
Legal Officer – Investment Funds (m / f)
to strengthen the Legal Department
Your responsibilities
- Assist the team in managing the legal and regulatory issues within the Bank and the
- Management Company with a strong focus on the fund activity
- Draft, review and negotiate legal documents (fund documents, service provider
- agreements, etc.)
- Reply to queries from other departments regarding legal and fund matters
- Review, file and store the corporate documents for the Bank and the related funds
- Carry out legal and regulatory research
- Assist in regulatory projects
- Draft and update policies and procedures
- Take on the role as coordinator for certain regulatory projects (senior agent and
- above)
- Provide administrative support and complete all requested control checklists
- Make proof of sense and sound judgment towards risk awareness
Your profile
Education
- Master's degree in Law, Political Science or Management
- Lawyer qualification is a valuable asset
- Any additional financial certification(s) will be considered as an asset
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar function in Luxembourg or abroad (Bank, Management Company, PFS, consulting firm, etc.)
- A good understanding of all the major EU and Luxembourg fund regulations
- Knowledge of offshore vehicles will be considered as a strong asset
- Fluent in English
- Good command of French will be considered as an asset
- Sound knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong analytical capability and excellent writing skills
- Well-organized, high level of integrity and detailed oriented
- Excellent communication skills together with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Team player
Criminal record: This position may require a condition of a good repute. The law on the
financial sector provides that the good repute of a candidate shall be assessed on the
basis of (i) criminal records and (ii) any evidence tending to show that the candidate is
of good repute and offering every guarantee of irreproachable conduct. Eventually the
candidate’s name will also be screened through our name screening tool which imports,
respectively, the latest versions of the World-Check blacklists, and runs an automated
screening process of all names.
