Description
Greenfield is proud to collaborate with our client; a leading Real Estate company in their search for a German speaking Procurement Controller. The group has warehouses in countries including France, the U.K., and Germany. They have grown significantly in the last couple of years and are looking for a Senior profile to join a new department. The person will report directly to the Finance Director. You will be leading a small team of officers and working on the good control of the suppliers and related costs.

The role:
- Responsible for overall maintenance of supplier database
- Production of internal reports on vendor control, payment statistics
- Responsible for training, refreshers and general sensitivity to the risks incl. fraud, non-payment, late payments etc.
- Review and management of any unusual and indirect setups: Property Managers, providers in various jurisdictions
- System review and monitoring
- System implementation workstreams
- Internal check functions
- First point of escalation for all queries/concerns for the team
- Supplier and business facing for all questions
- Process review and implementation
- Other reporting and ad hoc projects
The profile:
- BAC or equivalent in Finance, Business or Accounting
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in leading a small team
- Very strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Fluent in English AND German
- Very good knowledge of MS Office is required, especially Excel. Additionally, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Autonomous, conscientious, rigorous, helpful and pro-active
- Customer-service oriented
