RISK MANAGER (M/F)
While Talantlers offers talent attraction solutions to Luxembourg financial institutions and we get from our past experience an excellent understanding of insurance business, we have been mandated by a member of the Direction to Search & Select a Risk Manager.
Your main missions:
- Manage the review processes for branch and central risk registers;
- Produce risk review reports to the Risk & Capital Management Committee (RCMC);
- Manage the Operational Near Miss and Loss Register’s processes;
- Coordinate the realization of data accuracy reports and summaries of results;
- Support the Head of Risk with the production of ORSA, and even to some extant with the production of a specific Branch ORSA;
- Manage operational risk scenario analysis process;
- Support with other ad hoc projects;
- Produce reports of near misses and losses to the RCMC;
- Review the Emerging & Developing Risk’s processes and provide inputs from a European point of view;
- Assist branch offices with finalization of Internal Control sign off process quarterly;
- Communicate with functional heads within the Luxembourg and other branch offices.
Your profile:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance industry, within a Risk function, would be an advantage;
- Any degree level or relevant professional qualification, such as the CII or the Luxembourg risk professional qualifications;
- Ability and willingness to travel for business from time to time;
- Strong ability to plan and be organised within the daily tasks;
- Highly attentive to detail, motivated and autonomous;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel;
- Strong team-player within a collaborative environment;
- Fluent in English and French is required (German, Spanish or any other language is an advantage).
